There’s nothing decadent about underfloor heating because there are so many benefits, saving money on heating bills being one of them. Underfloor heating is becoming increasingly popular.
To begin with, underfloor heating carries heat all the way from the floor to the roof so you have warmth and an even heat all around you, this means you get a nice even temperature within a room without it getting too hot. This is good because you can set it so that once you reach a certain temperature it can go off, so you don’t waste any energy.

Due to the lower temperatures needed to heat an entire room you’ll find that underfloor heating, after the initial investment will cost you less in energy. You’ll also have more space, because without the wall radiators you can put something else there instead such as a bookshelf or a piece of art. There are two ways to have your underfloor heating, either electric or water based. The first one is a dry system and the water one is normally referred to as a ‘water system.’ Discuss with your installer which one you think is best for your home as they will be able to advise you.
